If you can’t move your original audio tracks, intact and as they appear in the NLE, to a DAW, any audio editing done outside the NLE is pretty much limited to work done on individual clips. Without that ability, there’s only so much that can be done for editing sound outside of the NLE. Those are the two ways to move a project from an NLE to a DAW. The first is that HitFilm does not allow for exporting OMF or AAF. Second, there are a few big limitations here. Just like a screwdriver is always better than a hammer for sinking a screw. there are a couple things here that need to be mentioned.įirst, a dedicated audio editing app is ALWAYS better for editing audio than a dedicated video editing app or compositing app. SOLUTION: After emailing with HitFilm's tech support team the solution to this was to Turn of/untick use Hardware decoding is available ( File > Option > Render ).So, yeah. I'm really hoping I don't have to give up on this video all together, but at this point I don't see any other option - I haven't tried making a video in another program, so I can't tell if t his is a HitFilm exclusive issue or not. How else do I troubleshoot this? I tried to go back to the previous version I had of Hitfilm, but I guess I wasn't logged in when I downloaded it (?) and the only version on my account available to me is the latest. Changed my virtual memory performance settings at the suggestion of this video.

Amend export frame rate because some frames are at 30fps and some are 29.97fps.Scan for corrupted drives - no results at the suggestion of this video.Update my drivers on my computer, particularly my graphics drivers and audio drivers. Some things I have tried to troubleshoot this issue: Graphics Card: Intel Iris Plus Graphics, version 27.20.100.9268 The only significant thing I can think of to have happened between those two projects is an update to Hitfilm Express itself. I thought it was possibly a corrupted file in the project itself, but I experience the same issue when attempting to export video I have previously exported successfully. It's worth noting I can export, but only if I export the video in sub 1 min increments. It always fails about 1/4 of the way through the export process. This popup doesn't always happen, sometimes it just says the render process failed/crashed. I recently started experiencing this error while attempting to export a video I created.
